Interim Recruitment Officer

Salary: £18 per hour (Umbrella)

Duration: Temporary (2 months)

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join a college on a two-month temporary basis, providing support during a period of staff holiday cover.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop sourcing strategies and create engaging job adverts across multiple channels, including social media.

· Coordinate the interview process, including scheduling and participation.

· Partner with hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment solutions and ensure compliance requirements are met.

· Lead attraction campaigns that enhance the College's employer brand.

· Provide recruitment market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring advice to stakeholders.

· Build talent pipelines and implement strategies for hard-to-fill vacancies.

· Represent the College at recruitment events, careers fairs, and networking opportunities.

· Deliver an excellent candidate experience and support onboarding for new starters.

Essential Requirements

· Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in an in-house, education, or agency environment.

· Experience delivering high-volume recruitment campaigns and creating engaging job advertisements.

· Strong understanding of candidate attraction, engagement, and hiring strategies.

· Experience advertising roles across multiple recruitment platforms.

· Knowledge of current UK employment legislation and recruitment best practice.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment/onboarding systems.

· Experience developing innovative solutions for hard-to-fill vacancies.

· Get smarter responses, upload files and images, and more.

· DBS Enhanced check preferred
