Private Client Tax Senior – London (Hybrid)
£35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
A leading professional services firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join its growing London-based Personal Tax team.
This is a varied, client-facing role supporting the delivery of both compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of individuals, families, and trusts. You will work closely with managers and directors on a range of private client matters, gaining exposure to more complex advisory work as your experience develops.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review personal tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts
- Support the delivery of private client tax compliance and advisory work
- Assist with tax planning assignments including CGT and IHT matters
- Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Work with senior team members on complex advisory projects
- Assist with HMRC correspondence and enquiries where required
- Ensure compliance with internal quality and risk procedures
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
- Contribute to improving processes and client service delivery
Candidate Profile
- Experience in personal/private client tax within practice
- Working towards or part-qualified CTA/ATT (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of UK personal tax compliance
- Interest in developing advisory experience in private client work
- Good communication skills and client-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Motivated to learn and progress within a supportive team environment
