Location: Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire (Hybrid – 2 days office-based) Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + OTE up to £45,000 (Quarterly bonus, capped at £10,000)
NFU Energy is a specialist energy consultancy supporting agricultural and commercial businesses with compliance and technical advisory services. As we expand our service offering across new sectors, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to generate new opportunities and develop existing client relationships through the sale of consultancy-led solutions.
The role · Drive new business acquisition across multiple business sectors including but not limited to, agricultural, manufacturing, food production and commercial property sectors. · Develop and grow existing client accounts through structured upselling and cross-selling consultancy services. · Maintain a balanced pipeline of marketing-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities. · Undertake proactive outbound prospecting (approximately 50% of activity). · Deliver consultative discussions around compliance and technical advisory services. · Prepare tailored proposals and commercial documentation. · Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and reporting. · Conduct client site visits where appropriate. · Achieve quarterly revenue targets through both acquisition and retention activity.
What Success Looks Like · Completion of a comprehensive induction program. · Pipeline established early and revenue targets achieved by the end of month three. · Consistent monthly performance across new business and account growth.
What We're Looking For · Experience in B2B sales with exposure to new business and consultative sales. · Confidence generating opportunities through outbound activity. · Ability to build rapport quickly and develop long-term client relationships. · Comfortable selling consultancy-led or technical service-based solutions. · Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability. · Experience managing pipelines and activity through a CRM system. · Energy sector experience essential. · Highly organised, resilient and target driven.
