We are seeking a Landscape Operative to join our team on a temporary basis for a minimum of two months. This role involves maintaining the aesthetics of local community spaces by cutting grass and trimming hedges. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, a clean driving licence, and familiarity with using ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Cutting grass and maintaining lawns across various council properties.
- Trimming hedges and performing general garden maintenance to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
- Operating ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Operative.
- Clean driving licence.
- Experience with ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
- Ability to start work next week.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
