Our current requirement – The role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the lettings team in Manchester, managing a portfolio of properties across the Northwest. You will be responsible for occupancy levels, providing essential onsite assistance across property viewings, inspections, customer service, and administrative duties. The position requires a proactive and organised individual with previous lettings experience who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and a small team while delivering a high standard of service to tenants and internal stakeholders.

You will also provide a visible onsite presence, responding to tenant queries, resolving issues professionally, and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Acting as a key point of contact between tenants, the lettings team, and block management, you will help ensure clear communication and the smooth day-to-day running of the development.

General administrative responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, supervising contractors and tradespeople, and assisting with both move-in and move-out processes to ensure a seamless experience for tenants. You will also provide flexible onsite support as required by both teams, adapting to operational needs as they arise.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:

Skills/Requirements:

  • Prior expertise within lettings or Property management
  • Prior expertise in dealing with and handling tenant enquiries and concerns (with a calm and professional manner)
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Highly organise and capable of multi-tasking effectively
  • Be confident, articulate and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wide team and combined with s strong sense of ownership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Familiarity with property management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential and the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences/stakeholders
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A proactive and organised approach to problem solving, with the ability to support and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working hours are 40 hours per week, although some flexibility will be required to cover and meet tenant needs and operational demands.
  • The role will be based onsite in Manchester with regular travel to other locations when required
  • A full Uk driving license is essential

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience (DOE).
