Description
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the organisation.
- Monitor and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
