Legal Secretary – Commercial Property 
Location: Hull City Centre
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Hull who are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join their busy property team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing digital dictations using BigHand
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and enquiries from clients and third parties, responding to queries appropriately
  • Preparing outgoing post, including printing, scanning, and copying documents
  • Carrying out Land Registry enquiries and assisting with property searches
  • Providing general administrative support to fee earners within the property team
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks in line with deadlines and client expectations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within a property team or legal environment
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive and team-focused approach
