The Role
As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils as they develop key skills in preparation for upper KS2
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Maintain a well-structured and inclusive classroom environment
This is a long-term placement, offering stability and the opportunity to become fully integrated into the school community.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally lower KS2
- Be confident in delivering engaging lessons across all subjects
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have a clear understanding of assessment and pupil progression
- Be reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards
