The Position – 1:1 Teaching Assistant
A supportive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Unit from September. The successful candidate will work closely with a small group of 8 pupils with Autism (ASD) and Speech and Language needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and develop key social and communication skills.You will play an important role in supporting emotional regulation, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping pupils engage in both classroom activities and structured interventions. The school is looking for someone who is proactive, shows initiative, and has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.
