A well-established Legal 500 firm is looking to recruit a Crime Duty Solicitor to join its expanding Criminal Defence department in Greater London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Duty Qualified Solicitor seeking high-quality work, long-term progression and the backing of a respected and supportive team environment.
The role will involve managing a varied caseload of criminal matters from police station attendance through to Magistrates’ Court representation, with exposure to more serious and complex cases where appropriate.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of criminal defence matters including:
- Police station attendance
- Magistrates’ Court advocacy
- General crime matters
- Assault, theft, drug, and public order offences
- Supporting on more serious Crown Court matters
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with Duty Solicitor status
- Experience handling criminal defence matters independently
- Confident police station and Magistrates’ Court advocacy skills
- Strong client care and organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence preferred
