Senior Remedial Works / Water Hygiene Engineers x2

Our client is a leading national consultancy specialising in water hygiene, water treatment and compliance services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking two highly experienced Senior Remedial Works / Water Hygiene Engineers with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record delivering remedial plumbing and complex water hygiene works across domestic and commercial water systems.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a range of remedial plumbing and water hygiene services, ensuring all works are completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard. Working closely with operational teams, you will provide technical expertise, support service delivery and help maintain excellent client relationships.

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (DOE)

Location: Field based around London and South of England, with some national travel. (Head Office is Caterham)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Benefits: Company vehicle, Fuel card or milage allowance for travel, Company pension, 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out temperature monitoring and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Complete water hygiene works including CWST maintenance, tank cleaning, disinfection, chlorination and showerhead descaling.
  • Service, maintain, and replace TMVs/TMTs and associated plumbing components.
  • Undertake dead leg removals, pipework modifications, system alterations, and expansion vessel works.
  • Collect water samples, conduct system inspections and produce accurate technical reports.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works on live domestic water systems.
  • Work to agreed schedules, SLAs, industry regulations and client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide support for service delivery and commercial activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in water hygiene, water treatment, Legionella control, or remedial plumbing.
  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Valid Unvented Hot Water qualification.
  • Strong practical plumbing and fault-finding experience on live domestic water systems.
  • Good knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, British Standards and Health & Safety requirements.
