An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded legal leader to join a well-known automotive services brand with a strong focus on innovation and commercial offering. They are searching for a Head of Legal to join their London team covering Commercial or Operations support.

Our client is a large, established brand name in the automotive and insurance industry operating globally, providing a range of essential support services to consumers and businesses. With significant operational infrastructure and a strong national footprint, they combine large-scale delivery services with complex commercial arrangements and a growing digital infrastructure.
Description
- Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing development, training, and day-to-day oversight.
- Deliver expert legal advice across commercial and operational activities, including digital, technology, and procurement
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-value, complex commercial contracts
- Advise on strategic initiatives including new business ventures, partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals
- Support on wider matters including data protection, IP, disputes, and regulatory
- Ensure compliance and support governance activities
- Manage external counsel
Profile
- Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years PQE
- Track record of managing and developing a team
- Experience supporting commercial, consumer, and regulatory law
- Ability to commute into central London on a hybrid basis (3 days in office)
Job Offer
- Base salary of £120,000 – £140,000 depending on candidate experience
- Bonus
