An award-winning regional law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Fee Earner to join its highly regarded Claimant Clinical Negligence team.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied claimant clinical negligence caseload from instruction through to conclusion, ensuring clients receive exceptional service throughout the litigation process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters of varying complexity and value
- Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation
- Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of their claim and managing expectations effectively
- Liaising with Counsel, medical experts, courts, and other third parties
- Attending client meetings, conferences, and hearings where required
- Managing limitation dates, procedural deadlines, and litigation timetables
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting risk management and file audit processes
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
- Sharing knowledge and supporting junior team members where appropriate
Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, or experienced Fee Earners who can demonstrate:
- Ideally 2-6 years' PQE or equivalent experience in claimant clinical negligence
- Proven experience managing your own clinical negligence caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of clinical negligence litigation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong drafting and communication abilities
- High levels of empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
- Experience using legal case management systems
- A genuine passion for claimant clinical negligence work and achieving positive client outcomes
