The Role
The Weekend Site Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading hands-on maintenance and reliability activities during weekend operations. The role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient completion of the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) of the plant and equipment by planning, scheduling and recording the required work, and driving asset care and reliability standards across the site.
This is role requires a strong focus on planning & monitoring of required workload, hands-on problem solving, people leadership, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Reliability
- Plan all required PPM works, including creating & completing Work Orders (WO) and arranging parts
- Ensure completion of PPM tasks as scheduled
- Work with Shift Engineer Team Lead to schedule weekday and weekend PPM’s
- Schedule Planned Works (ZM01) required at weekends.
- Lead and actively participate in reactive and planned maintenance activities during weekend shifts
- Carry out and support fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on manufacturing equipment
- Drive asset care standards, including lubrication, cleaning, inspection, and basic condition monitoring
- Escalate repeat failures and reliability issues with clear technical feedback to the weekday engineering team
- Coordinate and prioritise breakdown response to minimise downtime and restore production safely and efficiently
