Electrical Engineer
Locations: Ashford, Canterbury & Margate
Salary: £42,000 – £44,000 per annum
We are supporting a large, multi-site organisation in Kent in the appointment of an Electrical Engineer operating across key sites in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate. Please note that these are static roles.
These are critical roles within the estates and engineering function, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across a complex environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and plant
- Fault finding on systems including LV distribution, emergency lighting and BMS/HVAC controls
- Supporting compliance activity in line with statutory and safety standards
- Assisting with installations, upgrades and minor project works
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety requirements and best practice
Requirements:
- City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or BTEC in an electrical discipline (essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (essential)
- Demonstrable experience working within a complex maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
