Position – Outreach Mentor Location – Manchester (M15) Pay – GBP500-GBP700 per week, depending on experience Start date – Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (during term time only) Are you an experienced Outreach mentor, seeking a new opportunity within SEMH? We are working with a SEMH provision in Manchester to recruit a calm and resilient Outreach Mentor to join their team.
The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils in the community, promoting engagement and development.
As an Outreach Mentor, you will: · Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting both academic and emotional development · Regularly communicate with parents and SLT · Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT What we are looking for: · Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs · A full, clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this position · Comfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons · Team Teach training is highly desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: · Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
