Key Responsibilities
- Own Snowflake platform administration, performance, and cost optimisation.
- Manage RBAC, access controls, SSO integrations, and security policies.
- Implement data masking, row-level security, audit logging, and network controls.
- Deliver platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and Terraform-based deployments.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Security, and Cloud teams to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
- Act as the Snowflake SME for platform operations, governance, and architecture.
Essential Skills
- Strong enterprise Snowflake administration experience.
- Cortex AI
- Expertise in Snowflake security, RBAC, governance, and access management.
- Experience with warehouse management, performance tuning, and cost optimisation.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Account Usage and Information Schema.
- Terraform (or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling).
- Cloud platform, networking, and identity management experience (e.g. Okta, Azure AD).
- Available to start within 1 month (maximum notice period).
Highly Desirable
- SnowPro certification.
- Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Data Sharing, or Clean Rooms.
- Python automation.
- dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Alation, or Collibra.
- Experience within regulated environments.
