An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to join the team at a very large membership Organistion. The successful postholder will provide support to the CFO by managing their schedule, taking minutes in key committee meetings and writing up various committee papers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive PA support to the CFO, including diary management, inbox prioritisation, and travel coordination
- Act as first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CFO
- Prepare and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing papers
- Coordinate Finance Committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and agenda preparation
- Compile and distribute meeting packs (financial reports, board papers, KPIs, risk updates) in a timely manner
- Attend Finance Committee, Board, and senior leadership meetings to provide full administrative support
- Take accurate, detailed, and timely minutes, capturing key discussions, decisions, and actions
- Ensure minutes reflect financial terminology and governance requirements accurately
- Draft and circulate minutes promptly for review, incorporating feedback from senior stakeholders
- Maintain an actions log, tracking progress and following up with responsible stakeholders
- Ensure all committee documentation is filed and compliant with governance and audit requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a PA / Executive Assistant supporting C-suite, ideally within a finance function
- Strong experience attending senior meetings and taking high-quality minutes, particularly at Board or Committee level
- Excellent understanding of Finance Committee processes, governance, and confidential reporting requirements
- Ability to accurately capture complex financial discussions and translate them into clear, concise minutes
- Confident liaising with senior stakeholders including CFOs, Finance Directors, auditors, and non-executive board members

Location: Central London
Contract: 3-6 month interim contract with option to move to permanent
Rate: £24.15 per hour PAYE
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Working pattern: Hybrid (4 days per week on site initially)
