Network Engineer
Salary £49,000 p/a
Hybrid role with occasional travel to our Nottingham Head Office, clubs which are UK wide and data centres.

We're looking for a passionate, proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team and help power the systems our customers rely on every day, both in club and online.

You’ll take ownership of our network infrastructure and play a key part in both BAU operations and exciting, business-wide projects. From day one, you’ll have real impact and real responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning 3rd-line network support and responding to escalations
- Installing, configuring, and optimising network hardware and systems
- Supporting large-scale deployments across the group
- Leading and contributing to projects that deliver business change
- Monitoring production systems and participating in the BAU/on-call rota
- Working closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Project teams
- Championing standards, best practice, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring
You’ll come from a similar network or infrastructure role, with experience in fast moving environments and a strong technical grounding. To succeed here, you’ll need:
Strong technical skills in:
- Juniper SRX & switching
- Cisco firewalls & switching
- Palo Alto / FortiGate technologies
- Cisco Meraki
- Network routing, security & troubleshooting
- Hardware replacement and physical device support
Plus the mindset to match:
- Excellent communication able to translate technical issues for any audience
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving root causes
- A passion for learning and adopting new technologies
- Flexibility to support major incidents outside core hours
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- A positive “can-do” attitude and a collaborative nature
- A full driving licence (travel required across sites)
Experience with ITIL, or industry-specific systems (bingo/gambling), is a bonus.
Driving License required.
