Class 2 HIAB Driver needed for a client with multiple site across Gloucestershire, Paying £18.50 per hour (Plus holiday entitlement on top of earning) starting: 07:00am, Temporary Flexible Assignments, immediate start for the right candidate, free on site parking.
Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support a clients across multiple sites in Gloucestershire on a flexible, ad hoc basis.
This role is ideal for reliable and professional drivers looking for flexible work, offering opportunities across sectors including builders’ merchants, construction suppliers, and general haulage.
Key Responsibilites
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
- Load and unload materials using a HIAB crane
- Deliver goods to both commercial and residential sites
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure full compliance with transport regulations
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
Requirement
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid HIAB certification
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HIAB experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of driver hours and transport legislation
- Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach
