This position would suit an experienced Commissioning engineer OR an experienced Electrician who is now looking to take the next step up to a commissioning engineer. The engineer will be required to commission, perform routine planned preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and conduct performance checks on the Company’s range of products. The role will require travelling to sites, liaising with end users and contractors to conduct required works efficiently and in accordance with the company’s health & safety & quality procedures. Completion of reports and paperwork will also be required.
Comprehensive training will be provided but the ideal candidate will have experience in the commissioning and maintenance of ventilation systems both mechanically and electrically.
Professional Experience
- A commissioning engineer with experience of ventilation systems including knowledge of control systems such as BACnet.
- Understanding of the implementation of safety regulations. SSSTS/SMSTS certified is preferable but must be a CSCS Blue skilled worker holder as a minimum.
Education
- Qualified in electrical installation / electronic engineering to NVQ level 3 or similar and 18th edition is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
