Join the welcoming team at a beautiful Primary School situated Over Wyre as an EYFS Teaching Assistant. This full-time role spans the entire academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting early childhood education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons.
- Work closely with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to enhance student learning and development.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom activities and resources.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of pupils.
- Observe and report on pupil progress, adhering to the EYFS framework.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working within an EYFS setting; experience in Reception is highly desirable.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively with teaching staff.
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
