Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a high-performing, supportive school?
We are working in partnership with an Outstanding Primary School in Rochdale that is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join their team for a full academic year maternity cover from September 2026 through to July 2027.
The Role

  • Full-time Year 4 class teacher
  • Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Work collaboratively with a strong and experienced KS2 team

  • Ofsted-rated Outstanding Primary School
  • Welcoming, well-led leadership team with a clear vision
  • Strong behaviour culture and engaged pupils
  • Excellent support from SLT and well-established planning resources
  • A collaborative staff team with a focus on professional development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Confident in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • Passionate about pupil progress and inclusive education
