Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan to assess organisational risk and compliance.
- Lead and manage internal audit projects from planning to reporting stages.
- Provide clear and actionable recommendations to improve processes and controls.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure audit findings are effectively addressed.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the organisation remains compliant.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management and the board.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the audit team to build internal expertise.
Profile
A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in auditing, such as CIA, CMIIA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles and financial services regulations.
- Proven ability to lead audit engagements and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting findings.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure high-quality audit outcomes.
