We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Optical Lab Technician to become part of this friendly and professional team, helping deliver the highest standards of spectacle glazing, repairs and quality control.
The Role
As an Optical Lab Technician, you'll play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring every pair of spectacles meets the highest standards before reaching the patient.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Glazing and assembling prescription spectacles to an exceptional standard
- Carrying out frame adjustments, repairs and maintenance
- Performing quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision
- Working with luxury frames and premium lenses
- Supporting the dispensing team with technical queries
- Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring a clean, organised workspace
- Managing stock and lab supplies where required
- Helping deliver a seamless experience from order to collection

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as an Optical Lab Technician or within an optical laboratory
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for precision
- Experience glazing, repairing and assembling spectacles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Pride in producing high-quality work
