What will the Tax Accountant role involve?
- Analysing and refining tax processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Supporting the timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns and related reporting
- Collaborating with senior team members to ensure system requirements and tax processes are aligned with organisational needs
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
- Assisting with system updates and documentation of end-to-end tax procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives
Suitable Candidate for the Tax Accountant vacancy:
- Actively studying towards or holding a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Sound knowledge of tax legislation, compliance, and reporting
- Strong IT proficiency, with a flair for data analysis and process optimisation
- Experience in financial controls, and the ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-financial audiences
- Meticulous, deadline-driven, and committed to delivering high standards in their work
