- Our Client A leading, fast-growing London-based hedge fund is seeking a Delta One Trader to join its high-performing equity trading team. The fund combines quantitative research, technology, and discretionary insight to deliver consistent alpha across global markets.This is an exceptional opportunity for a trader from a bank, hedge fund, or prop trading desk to transition into a buy-side environment with genuine autonomy, access to capital, and direct P&L accountability. The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for Delta One trading strategies across equities, ETFs, index futures, and swaps. You will identify and execute basis, arbitrage, and relative-value opportunities , while collaborating closely with the investment, quant, and technology teams to refine and scale strategies. Key Responsibilities Trade and manage risk across equity index and ETF products Identify relative-value, arbitrage, and basis opportunities
- Optimise hedging, execution, and capital allocation
- Partner with quantitative researchers and technologists to enhance models and trading tools
- Maintain strong risk controls and performance reporting
- Contribute to the development of systematic and discretionary trading strategies
- Candidate Requirements2–5 years’ experience as a Delta One, ETF, or equity derivatives trader
- Experience within a bank, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm
- Strong understanding of equity derivatives, delta-neutral products, and hedging mechanics
- Proven contribution to P&L generation
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (Python or similar desirable)
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail
- Based in or willing to relocate to London
