SEN Teaching Assistant – Gloucester – Full-time
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role from September 2026? We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time in one of our partner schools in Gloucester, supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role – Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual support strategies
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour

We're Looking For:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants or individuals with SEN support experience
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Flexibility and reliability in a school environment
