Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Remote – Contract – Immediate Start
My client is looking for a Platform / Infrastructure Engineer to provide BAU support for cloud-based infrastructure. The role will focus on monitoring, maintenance, incident resolution, and the implementation of operational changes, ensuring a secure, stable, and well-performing cloud environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to support ongoing service delivery and platform reliability.
Key Skills from the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:
- Must have proven experience managing and supporting Cloud Platform Operations
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC) for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Support and maintain Azure Application Gateway services.
- Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Operational Support & Incident Management.
Key Responsibilities from the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:
- Provide day-to-day support and administration of the Azure cloud platform.
- Implement operational changes, service requests, and infrastructure improvements.
- Support and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform.
- Manage Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, and platform services.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, including identity, access management, and conditional access policies.
- Work with internal teams to ensure cloud services meet operational and business requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work on a remote basis.
