Pareto Financial Planning, part of K3 Advisory Group, has an opportunity for a highly experienced Paraplanner responsible for delivering complex financial planning support to our clients and adviser. Our Paraplanners plays a key role in the delivery of high-quality client outcomes.
This position operates on a hybrid basis, 3 days in our Manchester office and 2 days from home each week.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis

Conduct triage to identify information required to compile each financial plan recommendation.

Identify areas for planning.

Discuss and establish client objectives with the financial adviser.

Analyse client fact-finds to identify needs, priorities and potential solutions.

Conduct research on financial products, providers and market trends.
-
Perform cashflow modelling and scenario analysis.

Liaise with the client’s legal and tax advisers if appropriate.

Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client’s risk profile and their objectives.

Prepare suitability reports and financial plans in line with client objectives and regulatory standards.

Liaise with the Administration teams to ensure any recommendations are correctly implemented.
Technical, Risk & Compliance

Provide technical expertise across pensions, investments, protection, and financial planning.

Ensure all recommendations are compliant with FCA regulations and company procedures.

Keep up to date with legislative and market changes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Liaise with providers, platforms, and internal teams to progress cases.
Adviser Support

Work closely with Financial Advisers to develop appropriate strategies for clients.

Attend client meetings when required to support technical discussions.

Assist in preparing review packs and client documentation.
Skills & Experience
-
Minimum of 4 years’ experience at a Paraplanner level.
-
Ideally, Diploma 4 qualified in Regulated Financial Planning Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
