Planning Officer needed in St Albans Paying £18 per hr ref 5299253
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and determine a high volume of planning applications, predominantly householder developments and Certificates of Lawfulness.
- Prepare clear, robust and well-reasoned reports and recommendations.
- Provide professional planning advice to applicants, agents and members of the public.
- Undertake site visits and review planning proposals against national and local planning policy.
- Apply and interpret Green Belt policy effectively when assessing development proposals.
- Meet performance targets and statutory deadlines while managing competing priorities.
- Contribute to a positive and high-performing planning service.
