My client is looking for an experienced Marine Underwriter to join their growing team. Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: £80,000-£100,000
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Marine Underwriter with experience managing marine risks and developing profitable portfolios within the London market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Underwrite and manage a portfolio of marine business. * Assess new business opportunities and renewals. * Develop and maintain strong broker relationships. * Analyse risks and make commercially sound underwriting decisions. * Support portfolio growth and profitability targets. * Work closely with internal teams and market stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Experience in Marine Underwriting. * Strong knowledge of marine classes and market conditions. * Established relationships within the London insurance market. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Commercial approach with strong underwriting judgement.
