Assembly Operative – Desford
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative – Desford to join our well-established client based in Desford.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, weekly pay, immediate starts, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position within a growing manufacturing environment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Production Assistant, Workshop Operative, or General Operative.
Shifts
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 • Friday: 07:00 – 15:30
Rates of Pay
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an Assembly Operative, your duties will include:
• Working with acrylic and plastic materials to manufacture display items for shops and supermarkets • Packing finished products ready for dispatch • Syringe gluing, hot melt gluing, heat bending, and buffing • Following production specifications and quality standards • Inspecting products to ensure quality requirements are met • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment • Supporting the wider production team as required

To be successful as an Assembly Operative, you will need:
• Good communication skills and the ability to multitask • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail • Good organisational skills • Reliable and self-motivated approach to work • Flexible attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Commitment to producing high-quality work
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working as an Assembly Operative with acrylic or plastic products • Experience using syringe or needle gluing techniques • Previous product assembly and heat bending experience • Previous manufacturing or production experience
Training Provided
• Full training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
