Senior FP&A Analyst
£70,000 – £75,000 + Benefits
North London (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 remote)
Are you a qualified finance professional with strong FP&A and commercial business partnering experience? Aila is supporting a growing international business in their search for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join on a permanent basis.
About the Company:
- A growing international manufacturing business with international operations
- A dynamic, commercially driven organisation where finance sits close to senior leadership and business decision-making
- Operating as a smaller Group business within a FTSE 100.
The Role:
As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will report into senior finance leadership and act as a key commercial partner to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and the wider Leadership team. This is a highly visible role, providing financial insight, performance analysis, and strategic support that directly drives business growth and profitability.
You'll be someone who thrives on getting under the skin of the numbers and who can influence pricing, sales performance, and profitability, rather than someone drawn primarily to month-end accounting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership
- Deliver actionable insights on pricing, new product development, and commercial initiatives
- Produce and enhance management reporting packs for senior leadership
- Analyse revenue, margins, profitability, customer performance, and operational KPIs
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards
- Drive process standardisation, reporting automation, and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Strong FP&A experience within a Group and/or local business environment
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business planning
- Commercial finance and business partnering experience, with a clear focus on supporting decision-making
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with strong Power BI capability
