SEN Teaching Assistant – Village Primary School near Cirencester
Full Time | September Start | Term Time Only
Thrive Education is delighted to be recruiting for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming village primary school located just east of Cirencester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially.
The Role
- Full-time position starting in September
- Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
- Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children with SEN (school experience is desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, compassionate and adaptable
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
