Our client, a reputable Performance Vehicle Specialist workshop in Canterbury, Kent, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of vehicles, from vintage heritage models to modern high-performance supercars, within a supportive and professional environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience
- OTE approximately £45,000 per annum
- No bonus pressures, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays

- Work on a variety of vehicles, including hybrids and electric models, with specialist restoration facilities
Duties:
- Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing high-performance vehicles, including hybrid and electric models
- Using factory diagnostics tools and directly linked factory systems for ECU programming and software updates
- Conducting general maintenance and repairs adhering to manufacturer standards
- Working with advanced ADAS systems and performing wheel alignments using specialised equipment
- Assisting with restoration, fabrication, and modification work on vintage and classic vehicles
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally in a specialist or franchised dealership environment
- Relevant qualifications and advanced manufacturer training, with a focus on performance, hybrid, or electric vehicles
- Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with modern systems and hybrid/electric powertrains
- VAG experience is highly desirable to facilitate a smooth transition
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills with a commitment to quality
