We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious luxury, sports, and classic car specialist, for a Workshop Supervisor position based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for driven automotive professionals with proven workshop management experience within the prestige sector.
Benefits for the succesful Workshop Supervisor:
- Up to £45,000 basic salary plus bonus
- Monday to Friday working hours 8am – 5pm
- One Saturday morning in eight (10am – 2pm)

Duties of the Workshop Supervisor :
- Assign work to technicians to ensure efficient workshop operation
- Plan incoming work, manage team resources, and optimise technician productivity
- Oversee daily workshop functions to meet deadlines and operational standards
- Lead and motivate a team of 10+ technicians, ensuring high levels of performance
- Maintain communication with clients and provide status updates on ongoing jobs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
Requirements of theWorkshop Supervisor :
- Previous experience working within the motor trade, ideally in a workshop supervisor or controller role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team within a prestige, sports, or classic car workshop
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Ability to lead a busy workshop environment and drive team performance
- Technical understanding of vintage and modern vehicle technology is desirable
