A growing property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their Project Management and Professional Services team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across the commercial property sector. The successful Building Surveyor will work closely with clients, leading project delivery, providing technical advice and supporting junior surveyors.

The successful Building Surveyor will be joining an established consultancy delivering Building Surveying, Project Management and property advisory services across a range of commercial projects. The Building Surveyor will work within a collaborative environment alongside multidisciplinary teams, providing clients with technical expertise and commercial advice. The Role
As the Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional and project-based Building Surveying services across the commercial property sector.
The role will include:
* Delivering dilapidations instructions on behalf of both landlords and tenants
* Undertaking technical due diligence surveys and preparing acquisition, disposal and refinancing reports
* Managing refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion
* Undertaking contract administration duties across a variety of commercial projects
* Acting as Project Manager and Employer's Agent where required
* Carrying out defect analysis, schedules of condition and planned preventative maintenance reports
* Preparing reinstatement cost assessments and feasibility studies
* Managing client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered to agreed programmes and budgets
The Building Surveyor?
You will be an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong technical background and experience delivering commercial property instructions within a consultancy environment.
The Building Surveyor must have:
* A degree in Building Surveying or a related property or construction discipline
* Experience delivering commercial Building Surveying services
* Proven experience undertaking dilapidations, technical due diligence and contract administration instructions
* Experience acting as Project Manager and/or Employer's Agent
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong commercial awareness and organisational ability
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
