Our client, a North London borough, is seeking an agency Team Manager for its Adult Mental Health team.
The role is paid at £43 per hour.
The role will involve the following:
- Forensic services
- Managing day to day operations within the team, including assessment, case management, support planning and review
- Ensuring incoming work is screened, prioritised, and allocated appropriately, with timely case turnover.
- Leading safeguarding adults work under the Care Act 2014, including s.42 enquiries.
- Ensuring risk assessment and risk management processes are robust.
- Section 117
- Performance management
- Strong Leadership

Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have experience as a Team Manager managing social work staff
- Must have significant experience and knowledge of working in adult mental health settings and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks
- Must be a strong leader
- Must have proven track record in performance management
