Our client, a well regarded Corporate Finance house, is building a dedicated specialist financial modelling team to strengthen support for PE backed portfolio companies. They are seeking an Associate Director to work closely with the Director to deliver complex modelling engagements, manage stakeholders, and help establish best-in-class modelling capability across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Specialist Modelling Workstreams
- Design, build, and review advanced models including cap tables, dilution, waterfalls, LBOs and integrating M&A roll-ups as well as divestitures, and Funds Flow
- Support equity plans, incentives, transaction readiness, strategic planning, and value-creation modelling.
- Lead end-to-end modelling delivery across transactions and portfolio initiatives.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key contact for PE sponsors and portfolio executives.
- Present outputs clearly for decision-making.
- Integrate modelling insights with CF deal teams.
- Leadership responsibilities
- Over time, establish and lead the companies Financial Modelling Division
- Recruit, train and mentor juniors across the firm
Experience & Qualifications:
- Essential:
- 4+ years of modelling experience across IB, TS, PE, corp dev or specialist modelling.
- Strong technical modelling and understanding of PE mechanics.
- Confident presenting technical concepts.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and a number of junior reports.
- Attributes:
- Analytical, detail-driven, strong communicator, collaborative, self starter, critical and independent thinking . great client facing skills with an ability to design a solution to a specified client need
