The Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates while working closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the execution of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Building and reviewing complex financial models, valuation analyses, merger models, and transaction materials.
- Preparing client presentations, marketing materials, and board-level documentation.
- Conducting sector, company, and market analysis across a range of energy and infrastructure sub-sectors.
- Coordinating due diligence processes and working alongside legal, accounting, and other advisory parties.
- Managing junior team members and overseeing key analytical workstreams.
- Working directly with senior bankers on live transactions and business development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate is likely to possess:
- 2-4 years of investment banking M&A experience post internship.
- Strong transaction experience gained within an investment bank, advisory firm, or leading financial institution.
- Exposure to energy, infrastructure, power & utilities, renewables, digital infrastructure, transportation, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
