We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join a reputable social housing provider operating across the East Midlands. This role will focus on voids, repairs, and maintenance, helping to bring properties back to a high, lettable standard.This position will involve working across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, delivering a range of carpentry and general maintenance works.
Your new role
- Completing void property repairs and refurbishment works
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks
- Undertaking a variety of multi-trade duties, including: Patch plastering, Minor plumbing repairs, Basic tiling, Decorating works
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Carpenter, ideally within social housing
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- Experience working on voids and responsive repair contracts
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van and tools (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
