Credit Controller

Robert Half are supporting a business based in Emerson's Green, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

This role presents an opportunity for an individual with good communication skills, an administration background or a finance background to contribute to the efficient functioning of the credit team's operations.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Salary: £27,000 – £29,000

Hybrid Working: Three days a week in the office and two from home following on from an initial training period

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound collections activity across phone, letter and email to chase and recover overdue or missed payments, optimising customer contact time
  • Resolve invoice queries by liaising with internal departments and external customers to reach swift, accurate resolutions
  • Build strong relationships across all levels, communicating confidently and building trust to influence stakeholders effectively
  • Collaborate with outsourced partners and suppliers to manage overdue accounts, debt recovery, and related processes

Required experience/background:

  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing workload independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proactive, self-motivated individuals who take initiative
  • Positive attitude and professional energy in team settings
