Robert Half are supporting a business based in Emerson's Green, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.
This role presents an opportunity for an individual with good communication skills, an administration background or a finance background to contribute to the efficient functioning of the credit team's operations.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000
Hybrid Working: Three days a week in the office and two from home following on from an initial training period
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Manage outbound collections activity across phone, letter and email to chase and recover overdue or missed payments, optimising customer contact time
- Resolve invoice queries by liaising with internal departments and external customers to reach swift, accurate resolutions
- Build strong relationships across all levels, communicating confidently and building trust to influence stakeholders effectively
- Collaborate with outsourced partners and suppliers to manage overdue accounts, debt recovery, and related processes
Required experience/background:
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing workload independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proactive, self-motivated individuals who take initiative
- Positive attitude and professional energy in team settings
