Admin Coordinator
Job type: Full time temporary for 6 months, with the potential to extend.
Pay: £14.95 – £17.04ph
Locations: Ashford, Kent (Not suitable for remote working)
Hours: 6-week rolling rota, to include days, nights, and weekends. (Check advert for full shift pattern before applying)
Duties to include:
- Data entry, transferring information from paper form to spreadsheets and in-house systems.
- Occasionally overseeing colleagues performing truck checks, seals and samples.
- Walking across the large site regularly, to help at different stations where required.
- Using AI to assist with certain job requirements.
Ideal candidate:
- Physically fit and active, happy to walk across the site.
- Knowledge of Microsoft package and quick to learn internal systems.
- Driving is essential due to the location and shift hours.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota, which includes mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Qualifications in Environmental health, and experience in a food regulation environment is preferred, with some knowledge of EU food laws.
- Good levels of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Rota:
Week 1: 7:45pm – 6:15am (M, Tu, W)
Week 2: 12pm – 10:30pm (M, Tu, W, Th)
Week 3: 6am – 4:30pm (M, Tu, F, Sa, Su)
Week 4: 7:15pm – 6:15am (Th, F, Sa, Su)
Week 5: 12pm – 10:30pm (F, Sa, Su)
Week 6: 6am – 4:30pm (W, Th, F)
Please note:
- There will be exposure to all kinds of allergens during truck checks, such as fish and nuts.
- The role will involve physical work.
- This is an office based role, with no potential for home working.
- Potential to work in temp controlled environments, PPE supplied where necessary
- A basic DBS check may be required for the role.
- Lunch breaks are 30 minutes.
