Description
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accounts are up to date.
- Handle payment runs and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organised records of invoices and financial documents.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support the accounting & finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
