Your new role
You'll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your work will help ensure clients have accurate, timely financial information and feel supported throughout the year – not just at year-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions
- Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
- Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicating with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
