The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and business owners, providing proactive tax planning advice and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and client service.
This role would suit a CTA or ATT qualified tax professional with strong technical knowledge of private client tax matters, who is looking to take ownership of a portfolio while playing an active role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the wider tax team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, trusts, and business owners
- Provide proactive and technically sound tax planning advice
- Review tax returns and computations prepared by junior team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Support and mentor junior staff within the tax department
Requirements
- CTA and/or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of private client tax compliance and planning
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage a portfolio independently while supporting wider team goals
