About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary schools across the Hyde area. These roles offer flexibility, with opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term positions.
Many of our temporary roles regularly progress into long-term placements, providing consistency and the chance to build strong relationships within schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years lessons
- Assist with phonics, numeracy, and creative learning activities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support where required
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Prepare classroom materials and assist with general classroom duties
Requirements
- Experience working within Early Years (Nursery or Reception) is desirable
- A passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable, reliable, and proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
