SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95-£115 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs across a range of secondary schools in Islington.

Your Responsibilities
You will:
- Support students with a range of special educational needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers in adapting learning materials.
- Encourage independence and confidence.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Help create an inclusive learning environment.
We Are Looking For
Applicants should have:
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Knowledge of SEN such as Autism, ADHD or Speech & Language needs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Patience, empathy and resilience.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
