Position: Locum Personal Injury Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months +
Working Hours: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Mainly remote working, IT collection thereafter preference to someone who is able to attend the office on occasion if local
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 Umbrella (Dependent on experience)
The Local Authority is open to applicants from a Private Practice and Local Authority background who have previous experience in Personal Injury.
Duties may include:
- Manage and handle personal injury claims, including but not limited to industrial disease, noise-induced hearing loss, mesothelioma, and historic abuse claims.
- Navigate the damages claims portal efficiently to ensure timely and accurate case processing
- Apply knowledge of pre-action protocols to guide cases through the litigation process
- Represent clients, with a preference for defendant-focused case management but happy to consider those with a Claimant background
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and best practices while handling claimant and defendant claims
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation to support successful claim outcomes
